The Longhouse – British Wood Refectory Dining Table
Inspired by traditional refectory tables, The Longhouse combines substantial solid timber construction with clean, contemporary lines. Its chunky tabletop, sturdy legs and exposed central stretcher give it a distinctive design that works equally well in modern and traditional interiors.

The Nuthatch Brown Oak Dining Table is handcrafted from a rare British oak naturally rich in deep chocolate tones caused by Fistulina hepatica (beefsteak fungus) during the tree’s growth. Available in custom lengths from 160 cm to 240 cm (seating 6 to 10 people), each table is built in Herefordshire using traceable British timber and finished with a durable, protective hardwax oil.
Brown Oak
There is a depth to British Brown Oak that you simply cannot find in standard timber. The Ember dining table is crafted from this incredibly special wood, known for its rich, chocolatey tones and striking grain patterns. This natural colour variation is the result of the beefsteak fungus growing on the tree during its life—a completely natural process that leaves the wood exceptionally beautiful and totally unique to your table. The result is a warm, striking table that gives your family a beautiful place to gather for years to come
