The Tree Bookshelf
“Available in different sizes, made from different woods, and with varying number of branches.”
There is something rather special about creating a bookcase in the shape of a tree.
At Nuthatch Creations, we believe the story of a tree shouldn't end when it leaves the woodland. Our Woodland Branch Tree Bookcase celebrates that connection, echoing the graceful form of a living tree while honouring the British woodland from which its timber came.
Each bookcase is handcrafted from British-grown timber and is accompanied by a provenance certificate showing where its wood once grew.
“I wanted our study to be both practical as well as be quirky. The tree bookshelves that Matt made me offers storage for all the files I need, as well as makes the space feel unique” Lara
“Each Nuthatch tree bookcase comes with a certificate of provenance showing where in the UK your tree grew”
TREE BOOKSHELF - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Can I request a custom size or non-standard wood type?
Yes, absolutely! While we offer five standard sizes (from Mini to Grand) in Pine, Ash, and Oak, every piece is made to order in our Herefordshire workshop. If you have specific room dimensions, or prefer a different sustainable timber, simply get in touch via our contact form or send us a message with your measurements. We will happily create a bespoke Tree Bookcase tailored precisely to your space.
Do you deliver outside of Herefordshire and the Cotswolds?
Yes, we offer UK-wide delivery! While our team personally delivers and installs custom furniture across Worcester, Malvern, Shropshire, Monmouth, Cheltenham, and the Cotswolds, we regularly arrange courier delivery and safe transit packaging for customers located further afield throughout the UK. Contact us with your postcode for a tailored delivery quote.
How is the tree bookshelf mounted or secured to the wall?
Safety and stability are paramount. Our Tree Bookshelves are designed with discreet, heavy-duty concealed wall anchor points integrated directly into the main trunk and primary branch sections. We supply high-grade fixings suitable for standard masonry or stud walls. For customers within our local delivery area we can install for you.
Where do you source your timber?
We source all of our timber sustainably with complete traceability. Our hardwoods are obtained through a UK charity dedicated to managing and restoring native hardwood forests.
