Handcrafted to order in our Herefordshire workshop, Nuthatch Creations designs custom outdoor dining tables using 100% traceable, sustainably grown British timber—including Douglas Fir, and Sweet Chestnut. Built for the UK climate, each table combines local provenance with high-durability craftsmanship.

  • Origin: 100% British Woodlands (Certificate of Provenance included with every table)

  • Materials: British Douglas Fir, and Sweet Chestnut

  • Custom Sizes: 180 cm to 300+ cm (Seats 6 to 12+ people)

  • Tabletop Options: Seamless Joined Boards or 5mm Rainwater Drainage Gaps

  • Weather Protection: Finished by hand with high-durability, UV & water-resistant exterior oils

Hand-built in our Herefordshire workshop, each table begins life in a well-managed British forest.

  • Sized for your family - Select a table size or ask us to make something truly one-off..

  • Naturally protected - We finish by hand with exterior oils

  • Table top - choose joined boards (seamless table top but needs more protection) or boards with a 5mm gap between (the gap allow rainwater to drain more easily so the table can be more exposed).

    Traceable Timber

    Our tables are made from UK-grown wood sourced from well-managed forests that help regenerate ecosystems and restore biodiversity. While many tables are made from timber that has travelled thousands of miles, ours travels only hundreds. And because every table comes with a certificate of provenance, you will know exactly where your tree grew.
