Table Refurbishment: Breathing New Life into a Much Loved Table

This project was all about honouring the character and history of a much-loved dining table that fits perfectly within our client's space. The table had been fully painted in the past, but its solid pine top was just waiting to shine again.

We carefully stripped back the old paint from the tabletop, revealing the beautiful natural grain beneath. To soften the yellow tones that pine can develop over time, we treated it with a white-tinted oil—adding a light, contemporary feel while preserving the wood’s warmth and integrity.

The base of the table was refreshed with a new coat of paint in a colour personally chosen by our client, tying the piece beautifully into the rest of the room’s decor.
