Know where your tree grew.

All of the wood used to make our tables comes from trees that have been grown in Britain.

“Each Nuthatch table comes with a certificate of provenance showing where in the UK your tree grew”

Only China imports more wood than than the UK. We import £7.8 billion of timber a year, whilst neglecting our own supplies.
— Grown in Britain

Not only is it environmentally costly to transport wood such huge distances, there is also the issue of knowing the impact on the local environment. It is easier to be sure that the forest where your tree grew is being managed well when you can go and visit it, compared with a forest in a different continent.

A lot of wood used to make furniture in the UK has travelled huge distances before it reaches your home. In some cases the wood has travelled from the other side of the planet.

Healthy, well-managed woodlands contribute to cleaner air, lower flooding risk, and more thriving habitats for nature.
