We promote the use of British hardwoods managed sustainably and sourced through ethical means, as well as keeping our supply chains as short as possible and using the natural product in a way that both shows it off to its best.

We don't want to have a disposable product that is cast away. Our products respect the tree that they came from.

We value the promotion of the sustainable management of British woodlands and the encouraging of nature to take an active part.

All of our larger projects come with a certificate showing where that tree grew, be that from a nature reserve or another more commercially managed woodland. All come from sustainable forestry management sources, linking in with sawmills that share this value.

Matt has always been passionate about sustainability. With a degree in environmental science and having studied in both the UK and Canada, he's always had a passion for trees and forestry and now has 25 years of experience in sustainable education.
