We believe beautiful furniture begins with beautiful timber.
This tabletop was cut from a single slab of British-grown walnut. Rather than removing its irregularities, we've kept the natural edge and character of the wood and used black resin to fill selected fissures and features.
Look across the surface and you can follow the grain from one end of the slab to the other. Knots, changes in colour and the flowing edge aren't defects to be hidden — they're the story of the tree.
The pale ash legs provide a quiet contrast to the darker walnut, creating a table that feels contemporary without losing its connection to the woodland it came from.
Your table comes with its own Nuthatch Creations provenance certificate, recording what we know about the British timber used to make it. Because when you invest in a piece of furniture you may live with for decades, we think you should know where it came from.
This table is already made and ready for its new home. We use a specialist furniture courier rather than a parcel service, and they will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery day.
