The maisonette’s home-office had generous floor space—but offered nowhere to house the owners’ growing library. A staircase hand-rail cut across one wall at just the wrong height, ruling out any off-the-shelf bookcase. What they needed was storage that slid perfectly under the rail, added character and concealed clever lighting
““Nuthatch worked with us to understand our requirements for a bespoke and lit bookcase to fit in our newly decorated study and office area, keeping us updated and involved on design decisions and the build. Whilst the drawings were wonderful, the finished bookcase, with its incredible brown oak top and Little Greene painted finish were such a lovely surprise. The thought that went into the construction was wonderful, down to the way the grain was considered on the exposed rear of the unit. I couldn’t recommend Nuthatch more.””
